A friend of mine from Dallas told me once that Blue Belle ice cream is the very best ice cream you can eat. I thought he was just bragging on Texas, because he lives in Texas and the Blue Belle ice cream is made in Texas (blue belles are the state flower of Texas, by the way) and you couldn’t buy it anywhere else.

Well, Blue Belle decided to expand and now they are building plants all across the southeast U.S. There is a Blue Belle plant about 40 minutes from my house now and some of the stores in the area are starting to carry Blue Belle ice cream.

Remembering my friend raving about this brand, I bought some at the grocery store and gave it a try. He was so RIGHT!
