My T-Bird

I have a yard car, a ’96 Thunderbird. It sits around back and gets older and never goes anywhere. The list of needed repairs is long and it will be expensive to fix it up. The car is not worth half what it would cost to get it running again, but I just can’t bring myself to get rid of it.

My New Year’s resolution was to get the car running again this year and slow but surely fix it up. First, I need to get a new battery – this one is dead as a doornail. Then I have to din out why the “check engine” light is on. I suspect it is the catalytic converter. Ouch. But if that’s all it needs, I can fix that, put gas in it and get new tags on the car by the end of the month.
