My daughter hosts a play group at her home once a month for her daughter and 6 other little girls and their moms. It’s a great way for stay at home moms to have a social life that doesn’t require arranging for and paying for a babysitter. They take turns hosting the 3 hour event and it’s worked out well for the past two years or so that she’s participated.

Next month is my granddaughter’s 4th birthday and we want to do something special to celebrate. My daughter came up with a great idea to take advantage of the nice weather and be outside. She’s going to have a Tinkerbell party on her play group day. All the little girls will receive an invitation to come dressed in shorts and flip flops or ballet shoes and my daughter will be providing them each with a fairy costume upon arrival to wear at the party.
