Getting my dog to take any type of pill that is good for him used to take a lot of time and effort until my vet told me about this cool trick in order to get dogs to eat things they would not normally eat like medicine pills.

The first thing you do is get a piece of American cheese out, take the pill and wrap the cheese around it, then take a second piece of cheese and put it in the other hand. Now give the piece with the pill to the dog first, then give the plain piece of cheese next, but while giving the first piece keep the dogs attention on getting the second piece that way it will swallow the first piece fast in hopes of getting the second piece.

This trick has worked like a charm from me and has never failed so I thought I would share it in hopes of saving people and dogs some time and suffering.
