How nice it would be if our Government one day gave out loans for people to get energy efficient cars or trucks and to help with getting loans in order to make everyones home more energy efficient. And not just some sort of tax credit but but actual loans in order to buy better earth friendly products. I for one would take a loan to get a better more fuel efficient car and would love to take a loan in order to get solar panels put on the roof of my home.
Some of the things I have done on my own around the house in order to make things a little better for the environment is to change out all my standard light bulbs with energy efficient LED light bulbs. What are some of the things you are doing to help the environment and what are some of the things you wish our Government would do to help out?

Some of you have mentioned the fact that you have seen on my sidebar a new name and so i wanted to introduce my new blog roll person so everyone can understand why i choose to add her to my blog roll and not you or someone else. First thing is Sandy, or Urster is what we call her by, has been my friend since a child and we do and share pretty much everything in life. What you can find here on my blog you can probably find on her blog, but better written, lol. I really enjoy reading her blog so I wanted to share her blog with my readers, in hopes that you may like it to. Of course I am always open to new links on my blog roll so if you want to be added to my blog roll leave your link in the comments and I will review it.

When the weather turns frightful like these past couple of weeks, I get cabin fever really bad. The cold temperatures discourage any outdoors activities and the freezing rain and snow makes driving hazardous, so I tend to not go anywhere that I don’t absolutely have to go.
As much as I love my cozy little home I am a people person and love to travel. I have always wanted to go to Europe and spend a solid month in each country. Not necessarily back to back visits, I’m not greedy and I’m very practical. Who can afford to take off a couple years for just travel? Not us working people.
But sometimes it takes a special event to provide the motivation to go places. I know that if I was to have a wedding and invite my family and a few of my closest friends, we could manage to all go to Europe together. Wouldn’t that be fun?
Thanks to the internet, I found what might be the most perfect place in the world to have an intimate wedding. A luxurious mansion in southern Spain, The Palaceté de Cázulas, has 12 guest rooms and a quaint chapel that would be ideal for me. A large villa in Spain is exotic and very “do-able” for my family.
The location is very convenient - just one hour south of Granada and only about 30 minutes from the Mediterranean Coast, in peaceful and secluded surroundings. Very private and luxurious. Here are some pictures of the property:
The Palacete for guests

The Chapel for the wedding

The Terrace for the reception

This is a dream I can make happen, and I’ve started planning it already. This might be someplace special for you, too.

Was watching some clips of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Professor giving lectures to MIT students and found that the user that was uploading the videos was MIT itself. MIT on YouTube has tons of great clips on the site from all sorts of teachers giving away free lectures.
There are way to many great episodes to name and talk about each one and I have only seen a fraction of the videos they offer, so I just wanted to pass along this great find in hopes that people will learn from its online video courses they offer to better educate our societies and that will in turn build a better community for our Nations. If you have some free time and are in the mood to learn then watch a few clips from Professor Walter Lewin.

I recently started a new company with the intent of selling merchandise online, when setting up an online company there are a couple of things that you need to do first and since this is my 6th online company I decided to blog about the things I did to make successful online businesses, so that maybe people can learn from my experiences to help them in launching and maintaining an online company. i will do more posts like this in the future so stay tuned.
The first is the .com you want to get one that is about your business in the name or the keyword you are trying to achieve.
The second is to create a better looking website than your competitions websites, and by that I mean take a look at the top 10 people in your industry and make sure that your web design is better than all of theres.
Third is making sure that you have more products than your competition and at better prices, and fill the website with them.
Fourth, market your website by submitting it to every directory you can afford to, and do not forget to submit it to dmoz which is free and the Yahoo directory which costs $300.
Fifth is to submit all your products to places Google Products, Bizrate, and other sites like them.
Sixth, buy some traffic from the top search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN if you can afford to do so.
